Well, the fact that I was born on the exact day that Final Fantasy VI released was already a sign, and to be honest, since I was a child, I have always been a video game fan and a nerd in general, and actually, as years passed (thanks, high school!) I have become very proud of that fact.
"All your base are
belong to localization"
Me discovering “konputers” around 1999
Apart from video games, I have always been very interested in mythology, history, and astronomy. I would have studied those fields if I weren't terribly bad at mathematics. I also enjoy literature and languages. These two interests in particular led me to study English Translation and Interpreting at the University of Málaga. Since I always wanted to live abroad, I managed to do that thanks to the Erasmus+ internship. This opportunity allowed me to live one academic year in the awesome and beautiful city of Ghent, Belgium.
After completing my bachelor's degree, I decided to combine two of my passions: languages and video games. I pursued a master's degree at the University of Vigo. This helped me acquire the skills to become a specialist in translating cultural references, video games, and localization.
Then, quoting that famous movie, life (or Poland, in this case) found its way. I was hired to work in Warsaw, a city I called home for more than six years. But I had to move to another country again, this time back to my hometown.
If you need to translate something from English to Spanish (or vice versa) in a natural and authentic way, with all references and puns adapted to Spanish culture and idioms, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Hopefully, in a few years, I will be able to offer my services to Norwegian clients, as I am currently studying this amazing language.
